Morning After first Nor Easter of October 2011

If this is a prelude to the coming winter, we are  Sooo in for trouble, this one took out power for 600thousand by 6am this morning. We got an accumulation of 1ft plus a little overnight. Pictures first and the video at the bottom is from the back porch.

Couch Cozy for Tissues :)

I made this a little while ago and thought I would post it. Its crochet in an acrylic worsted weight I had packed away for about a year and found and no idea what to do with it so..here is a use:)

Shawn's Socks

The story behind these is simple, Shawn has been a best freind many yrs and we jsut got back in touch and I told him I wanted to knit him some socks for work.. so we each picked a color so they would be special and here they are all finished and ready to be mailed to him :) a BIG Hugger and thank you to the owner of Oink Pigments for sending me the wonderfull yarny goodness  and I would suggest everyone go get some of her yarn!!

Oink Pigment Yarny goodness came Monday!!!

YEp! It showed up and that same night two hanks got rewound into cakes and the Boot socks started for my BMF Shawn. We picked the colors Three Leaf Clover and Mr Blue Eyes in worsted weight and working with this yarn was everything i thought it would be! so soft on the hands and wonderful on the needles. First sock is nearly done already so here is a picture from lastnight(its gotten farther along since then I started on the foot a little while ago)

hrmm.. BOO!!! hehehehe he's staring at yoouuuu...@@

Peek a Boo Elf was a testing knit for Pheonix Knits on Ravelry and this little monster is getting a new home today  for my brothers' birthday

Two New pairs of personal socks.. this is what happens when your snowed in

These yoga socks were done in Patons Kroy socks yarn- Rich Earth Jacqaurd(still think thier Mint Choco Chip colored)
